So I tough it would be a good ideal to start using pool to get our feedback on some aspects of the website. As you've all seen I've been working and the Members page and I'm at a point where I'm ready to include the pretty faces of all of us.

With that comes the matter of sharing this picture. Option such as Imgur and Google Drive and One Drive are to be considered but as I never worked with those if anyone want to share experience with those or any other you can do it here. As for me I'm going to talking the option that is most intuitive : Dropbox

How does it work
It is pretty simple. You create an account on the Dropbox webpage and install the program on computer. What Dropbox does is it adds a folder to your computer that will sync everything you put inside with anyone who share this folder. To add someone to this folder, you only need to add their email address that they used for their dropbox account and add them to the folder. This would allow us to share more than just pictures.

Storage
The only Drawback I would have about Dropbox is that it comes with a limited 2 GO of sharing which could fall short if we want to share videos. It is however possible to add space by adding friends to this folder but it would need to be tested as I don't know if this amount is added to the user of to the sharing folder. To that effect, if we want to use Dropbox it is important no one creates their account right away since the friends system requires to invite someone who doesn't have an existing account.

Why Dropbox
Because from my previous experience it's really easy to use and doesn't require you to log into a platform all the time, you just drop in the folder and its done.

Exploring other options
As I said, if anyone knows any other software that would do this job better feel free to share it here. Note that if we start sharing videos between us at some point to have them edited, we will probably want to try share them in loosless codecs (which will probably be impossible as a 5 second video can weight around 600mo that way) and we will have to think of another solutions than cloud base sharing systems.

I've got 5 GBs of storage on there and it's all from inviting friends to share a folder I have. I used it pretty extensively in high school and still have my account.

About that, I was wondering if the extra space applied only to the user or to the folder itself, like can anyone upload 5GBs in your folder or are you friends limited to 2,5Go?
