Home Page Layout
I absolutely love the idea of a video mash up of us doing dungeons/raids/coils/joking around/ect for our "Free Company" video.

I quite like the website layout, you're doing awesome work here :)

I was just thinking, it would be really cool if the video mash up came from different guildies point of view. So like, Tank, DD, Healer, DoL.. ect.

That is indeed a good ideal and one that I thought of too, however we will need see who has enough computing power to record their playtime since it might not be possible for everyone. Recording is CPU intensive so a good processor is usually needed to have good playback.

We also need to think about a welcoming text. As much as I love Lorem ipsum for designing, it doesn't really offer anything aside from getting a feel from the spacing of the test xD

I also have a question about uploading pictures to Guildwork. I have noticed that the pictures I've uploaded appear to have a lower quality. Is that always going to happen? It probably will, it's just unfortunate that my super awesome screenshots are lower in quality.

I believe there is some sort of data compression when uploading pictures so it does not overload their sever(s) since people can upload pictures of any size. If you go see on other websites, you'll notice that that pictures are of the same quality. So sadly it will always be like this unless it is change by Guildworks. But don't worry, your Miquo'te is still lovely even in lower resolution ;)

The website
Let's be honest here, so far the website serves no purpose other then being a gallery. As Heavenward arrived the focus as been put into the game and the website as been forgotten even more then it already was. As much as it is understandable, so far we've only putted pieces of what we wanted into the website on vague ideals without discussing in details what we aim. For example, what do we want into the navigation,what additional content do we want and are we going to start recording our playing. Many ideals like this have been thrown in discussion from time to time, but we need to consider that adding content other then pictures to the gallery will require commitment from a few or many and we need to figure out if we have the commitment do so. At this point I feel we will get the the end of Heavensward with a mostly incomplete website that is not ready for us to actually use when we get to the point where we'll do raids and other stuff together.

The logo
I have putted an example of what I envisioned as the logo with the animated text. I am still open to other suggestions in that matter and for that I'm re-posting this link to an image without my text design. Feel free to add any text you like and post it back here or in an album. Just make sure it is at the very leas free for personal use (which is easy if you take your font from dafont.com)

The Member section
I've added an example of the members section I envisioned. It is only a beta version as there are a few things we will need to discuss upon

1- Do we actually want the section to look like this
2- Where to take the pictures so the light is the same
3- How to share those pictures (using something like Dropbox or Google Drive)
4- What content do we want in the profile boxes (name, classes and so on)

For point two I thought a really nice place would be Fortemps Manor, however it would be impossible for player who have not yet reach Heavenward to do so like Moidas pointed to me. The rest is still to be discuss.

And that is all for the time being.

Just to add to the discussion, I like the layout of the members page. This will give people an idea of what the person is good at (maybe just to be fun, add a role that you don't like so much). As far as the pictures go, really anywhere would work. It would need to be talked about obviously, but we could take pictures at the old FC house (owned by my mules). Also, there is a minion you can obtain in the Isle of Umbra that will brighten up the environment if that is something that is lacking.

Otherwise, as a group, we should and probably will start encouraging members to start using the Guildwork page and get them active (hopefully adding to the creativity of the page).

As far as the logo goes, I personally like how it is. I am by no means artistically inclined, but a suggestion would be (as I think bliss mentioned?) is to add some angel wings.
